Umang Swami， MD， MS
Swami is a medical oncologist at 亨茨曼癌症研究所 和 assistant professor of oncology in the Department of Internal Medicine 在 U. 专注于 泌尿生殖器的癌症, he is currently leading 和 collaborating on four investigator-initiated 临床试验 evaluating novel treatments in patients with metastatic castration-resistant 前列腺癌. He earned his medical degree from Sawai Man Singh Medical College in India before moving to the U.S. where he earned his master’s in clinical investigations followed by a hematology-oncology fellowship 在 University of Iowa. During this time, he also participated in the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program.

Covington is a radiology physician-scientist in the Center for Quantitative Cancer Imaging at 亨茨曼癌症研究所, an assistant professor of radiology 在 U. In addition to a clinical expertise in 癌症成像, he is a dual subspecialist in nuclear radiology 和 breast imaging. His research is focused on the use of innovative agents in PET/CT scans for more accurate detection of invasive 小叶癌 以及其他癌症亚型.
